Hello everyone! My name is Steven and I am the Lower School Science Teacher here at Friends Seminary.

This is my first year teaching at Friends Seminary.  Prior to coming to Friends, I have taught at Brunswick School, Greens Farms Academy, and most recently Ranney School as the Lower School Science Teacher.  I received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College and a Master’s in Elementary Education K-6  from Sacred Heart University.  My experience teaching  science began at the Bruce Museum Seaside Center as the head naturalist. Followed by working at the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium, Audubon Society, and other various environmental organizations. On my free time I enjoy the beach, listening to music, fishing, eating, and driving. I am beyond excited to join the Friends community and look forward to teaching you all about the natural sciences!
