Hello, my name is Steven Fong and I am the Lower School Science Teacher. The lower school science program is to introduce children to scientific concepts, tools and methods of investigation. The Science program emphasizes hands-on activities, observation, research, and discussion to help children develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. In every grade level students practice making predictions, testing hypotheses, and drawing conclusions while making real-world connections as they learn about scientific inquiry. To enrich their scientific learning, students will have opportunities to visit the rooftop greenhouse and work on collaborative projects across disciplines.
