Kindergarten students are learning the fundamental building blocks of music! Students warm up their voices through song and story, while improvising on their blossoming knowledge. Students are reading quarter, eighth, half, and sixteenth note rhythms. Students aurally differentiate differences in music such as major/minor, forte/piano, high/low, and staccato/legato.

Students listen to and perform music that coincides with our cultural history month celebrations!

Students begin to explore un-pitches percussion and instruments, while playing their first notes on the xylophone!
