I usually don’t have time to read a lot of books, however i made the time with this tragic story of a deceased veterinarian who watches as her husband unravels in front of her. This beautifully written book by Neil Abrahmson is both cheerful and heart wrenching at the same time. With beautifully intricate characters vet tech with an autistic son who has episodes. He had an episode and Sally, his mother, was fired and began to work for David the deceased Vet, Helen’s, husband. This story gets confusing at times, but entwined in that confusion lies a goldmine of brilliance.
