Finding a new book is hard, but this series will have you on your toes! City of Bones is the first in a series by Cassandra Clare. There are five books in the series so far and a sixth is being released in March, 2014, called The City of Heavenly Fire. The City of Bones is focused on a girl named Clary Fray. She has an overprotective mom and a best friend named Simon. Then at a club called Pandemonium she dances and has fun with Simon, until she sees three teenagers murder what looks like a regular human, but is actually a demon. Read the rest of this book series to find out what happens to Clary and Simon. The book series is called The Mortal Instruments. The names of the books are, City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, and City of Heavenly Fire. This book is a young adult book, and I recommend this series to anyone in sixth grade and up, who enjoys fantasy, adventure, and romance.
