Recently, in celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year, the fifth grade had a special party in class celebrating the Year of the Horse! They did multiple things, including making special year of the horse posters for around the school, they made chun-lian, which are red Chinese decoration banners with uplifting messages for the new year on them, and they made dumplings. They did all of this and also had some Chinese foods and candies as a special treat! Here are a few of the pictures from the event!
