Yesterday, I went to see the Fifth Grade Play, This Is Hamlet! Even though Hamlet is a Shakespearian tragedy, these ten and eleven-year-olds managed to make it hilarious as well with King Hamlet’s ghost playing charades, spontaneous dance breakouts, the wise love advisor saying “Now I gotta go help this chick Juliet with her love problems”, Beatrice and Ella hosting the show and making the audience laugh in between scenes, and a missing stuffed dog named Truffles (who is really the only one who gets a happy ending). Overall, I’d like to congratulate them all for an amazing performance and wish them luck in their future acting!
