Peter Pan

I recently had the privledge of seeing the middle school play,”Peter Pan”. Peter Pan and Wendy, were played by Cecilia Raymond and Claire DiLorenzo. As many of you know, Peter Pan includes many magical moments (flying to Neverland, Tinker Bell, ticking crocodiles, moving shadows, ect.), which all seem very difficult to show on stage. However, the set designers did a fantastic job using shadow puppets to show these magical moments. The fight scene between Hook and Pan was amazing, and Pan’s flips wowed the entire audience. The play also added an unfamiliar characrer, Jane, Wendy’s daughter. The fact Jane went to Neverland with Pan at the end, really made the whole play more meaningful, and elaborated on one of the main themes of the play “Mothers”.  Congratulation to the cast on an amazing job.
