Judith is the Lower School Computer Science teacher at Friends Seminary.

Teaching with technology is her passion.  She enjoys helping elementary school children use computers and iPads to craft stories, write and debug code, construct animations and record their own stories and narratives.

Before coming to Friends, Judith taught technology to children and teachers at P.S. 234, The International Community School of Abidjan and The Brearley School.

This year Judith is especially excited about working with the new Finch robots. She’ll also continue to teach programming with Scratch and languages that resemble Scratch like Finchblox and BirdBlox, a version of Snap. Every year she looks forward to helping Third and Fourth Graders teach their little buddies about ScratchJr and Bee-Bot. Her role also includes developing collaborative computational thinking activities for First and Second grade and supporting teachers as they weave Digital Citizenship activities into the K-4 curriculum.
