Kindergarten students attend Art class with Isabel Dominguez once a week in small groups. Throughout the year, they will explore color theory with tempera paints and watercolors. They will work with clay, learning techniques to attach materials and combine parts to build structures. During the woodworking unit, they will be introduced to tools such as the crosscut saw, hammers, nails, vices, and sandpaper. Additionally, sewing, drawing, collage, and cardboard construction will be explored.
