Kindergarten students come to Art taught by Isabel Dominguez, once a week in small groups. Throughout the year kindergarteners will learn about mixing primary colors in order to create their own combinations. They will work with clay and learn how to blend materials and combine parts to make structures. In the woodworking unit kindergarteners will be introduced to the cross cut saw, hammers, nails, vice and sandpaper. Sewing, drawing, collage and cardboard construction will also be explored in Kindergarten Shop.
